The kenyan government ought to come up with a policy paper on how to tackle jigger menace in central kenya.
Our Okuyu brothers and sisters are really suffering because of this tragedy.
Recent research shows that if no proper measures are taken, by the year 2040, 85% of Okuyus living in rural areas will be infested with jiggers.
And contrary to popular opinion, jiggers are not sign of poverty but of poor hygiene. Okuyus should learn to bathe regularly and also keep their houses tidy.
i am deeply concerned about this menace. @Straw_man you need to take me on a fact finding tour to central kenya. i need to carry out an assessment of jiggers prevalence among Okuyus.
If i ever become the president, i will ensure these Okuyus bathe regularly.

jigger infestation is everywhere. Just like hechavii is ravaging @Wuodsigu and his people. it is not an opportunity for you to take a cheap shot at people experiencing real suffering. it is a major social economic challenge that continues to pose a challenge all over kenya, including central
