The thing you need to realise about politicians is that they genuinely believe that they are smarter than all other people, and that these same people share the same version of events that they do. So they can basically say anything they want as they expect to forget what they say.. when they also forget. This is how democracies operate.
But Kenya is a Republic. And Republicans will hold you to your word, verbatim. If you said you will deliver the moon, you must demonstrate with images why you didn’t.
