Greetings elders, having seen many jobless degree holders among our midst, and the inevitable rise of AI, would it be wise to opt for a course in plumbing,? what might be the best accredited school to study the aforementioned course, and is it it well paying in Kenya as it is in Europe?
tangu uzaliwe ushai require services za plumber? na ukamlipa how much? usidanganywe na wanasiasa
I always have a problem acquiring the services of the local qualified plumber when I need him uko shags. The guy is very much in demand.
Okay I see the you’ve also bought into the fear of AI. Naona ulikua unafuatilia diskeshen yetu na @Kumbaffu . Well, the way I see it, anybody looking to break into tech has just this year alone to master everything and look for a job, after that aanze vigorously updating his skills to something that is in the AI domain, otherwise, it’ll be at least a decade before plumbers are that lucrative. Then again, sidhani plumbering ni kitu ya kuendea course, a apprenticeship that lasts a month can suffice. But places kama US lazma uwe certified
You should stop viewing everything through the lens of politicians. I highly doubt an average politician is aware of the disruption that AI is set to deploy, neither am I aware of any politician that advocates for plumbing courses. Then again, hii world ya evolving tech you need to be very open minded and accept any possibilities, then work around to survive the same. As it stands now, you dont strike me as an individual that knows what being open minded is, let alone practicing it.
If you take a walk pale ushago, you can be sure to come across a bursted water pipe every 200m
Yes even jana I had to call one to repair my sink. Unless wewe ni mtu ya kuwachilia kinyesi kwa shimo ya pit latrine kujipanguza na matawi ya Napier grass, na kuanika vyombo kwa jua zikauke
:D:D:D:D
I know of a plumber based in the US who is building a magnificent resort pale sagana… And owns several luxurious homes pale Karen
Interesting thought. Do a diploma in civil/structural engineering, that way you broaden your potential
This is the dumbest thing I have read all week :D:D
If you want to build significant wealth, you should choose a career in which you are able to build a product that you can sell at a very high markup or at a very large scale.
Kila kitu unataja ni US?
What’s your goal? To fix minor things here and there, maybe for your friends too? Use YouTube. I have used it even to weld water lines. However if you are going into commercial plumbing, where you build off blueprints, do one of two things. Either just offer to work for a plumber for free until you get it. They will be more than happy for your slave labor. Or enda polytechnic that offers such a course.

Yaani tangu nikufukuze telegram bado hujaacha ujinga ngombe ici. Sasa pale Pipeline 8th uliita plumber afanye nini mkamba mjinga
Good plumbers are few, and it’s daunting work. You’ll have to know how to properly design and safely install drainage systems, correct shoddy work, and unblock toilets, not just fixing taps. Basic masonry and carpentry skills are a plus. Be good with your hands. You need to research and understand the tools, materials and products on the market that are used in your trade.
Above all, you need good customer care skills, besides the technical knowhow; attitude is everything when selling a service. Serious clients want someone who will arrive promptly and fix the mess in their leaking kitchens or bathroom, professionally. People are always building, and it’s worth considering.
Enda Kenya Water Institute if you want to be a pro in anything related to engineering in water. Kazi ipo, by referral, nyingi sana. You just have to be exceptional in whatever you choose to do.
poyoloko anaongea juu ya zile ng’ombe hu enjoy watu eti yeye ni dereva juu anaendesha ma3 ili hali umbwakni iko na mini bus kumi na lorry saba stenje:D
ama contractor ingine rafiki yangu hujiita fundi na nugu iko na kampuni
If you want to get kungurus ill’d suggest computer programming. Kungurus would rather date a code monkey “software engineer” making 100 ngweezys than a highly skilled plumber making 200 ngweezys… status > money.
Na saizo amezioshea pale kwa river arror ama kimwarer
