Hours before Operation Sledgehammer on the beaches of Kismayu, ex-CDF sitting in buggy. Surprisingly, it’s 1000cc’s and can do what most of your jalopies cannot do.

Btw, another reason to overlook the F-16 is the single engine. If it gives out ni hivyo. Unageuka glider.

Upon retirement, officers from a certain rank (sijui ni gani. Budangu alikataa kuniambia yet yeye alipewa. Nugu yeye) wanapewa hii kama kwaheri. @imei2012 njoo utueleze, hii haiwes kuwa inakiuka kiapo.

upon retirement(by the way generals never retire they just fade away) the chief of defence forces is towed away in a landrover by senior officers as a farewell last respect upto the gate where he boards his private vehicle to start civilian life

I don’t know whether they guy was on guard duty or what, he went to kill his gal with a machine gun, imagine!

But he didn’t reckon with APs - they just sprayed his keja with like 1,000 bullets.

Now, why die like that because of a woman honestly? Si huo ni ujinga kama wa…wacha tu!

Wee ES, nihurumie jameni. Sikuwa na ubaya…

A general which is the highest rank we have in the KDF, or 2nd highest rank Lt general

Hapo sasa it’s either budangu alituenjoi ama hakutuambia ukweli kwa vile hakufika hizo rank. Kuna mbisha akifanyiwa (siwes weka hapa, CSI ni wanoma). Either alikuwa anajoy ride ama mwenye alikuwa anafanyiwa alikuwa ameinama picha ikichukuliwa

Hiyo ndo kufa kishujaa… Kill her with a 50 cow and instead of buying rat poison, you wait for death specialists and die drying… You know, like a combat mission. But that guy is my hero.

That is a very almost sacred like occasion, trust me, your dad would not be aboard that landrover if he wasn’t either the retiring general or the incoming one. Military is strict, hakuna kiherehere ati ebu nipige selfie. You can easily get “killed in duty”

Hao si wanaitwa paratroopers?
So I read an article some place that said that, yeah, they are among the best! Commandos, SWATS, I don’t know the armed forces jargon. But they are among the most vulnerable! They get captured and all. They also get detached and it might become difficult for them to get rescued. So the Americans in Iraq deviced a way to ensure that when a detached paratrooper is helped to escape from the enemy by a civilian or a defecting soldier, they are given a promissory note which when presented to the American embassies anywhere in the world, the bearer of the note if proven genuine, would be paid equivalent of USD 400K (I’m not sure about the exact amount) in cash, or one can get airlifted and given US citizenship together with the family members. Is that true, @Jazzman?

I don’t know about the US, but nwe at Gilgil barracks we have our own special forces that include the paratroopers, they are the creme of all the military units, to be called here you must be the best of the best. Sitaongea mingi but those serving there can match most of the efficient special forces from the western world.
