Tuju is the perfect example. He did a great job trying to develop Rarieda but the Jatelos there want none of that. Even a mobile hospital he took there he had to relocate it to somewhere in Embu after the people there wanted to burn it. He is a guy I respect sana because he has gone against the grain there and is still a prominent person in Kenyan politics

In 1997 and 2002 Uhuru was given the finger. In fact after 1997 he totally quit politics before Moi forced him back in, two years later.
In 2012 it was more or less Raila who made Uhuru president when he took him to the Hague. If Raila had just followed Kibaki silently, he would probably be finishing his second term next year. There would be no jubilee to disrupt him.
But look at the chaos he started in 2003/4 … hadi he was fired from govt. In 2008 almost burning down the country. And then 2012 he is like, “Kibaki niachie kiti, I have supported you! Niwachie!” :rolleyes:
