There is clearly a huge correlation between what we eat and how long we live. I recently came across an article by the Nation shaming Nyeri for not having a mall or places to buy Pizza. Then days later, I came across recent data from CRA and I noticed something interesting. Nyeri has the highest life expectancy (a record high) for both genders.
Nyeri women live the longest in this country attaining the age of 75.80 on average.
Nyeri men live the longest in this country attaining the age of 66.40 on average.
Normally, a high life expectancy indicates a high quality of life.
Here’s the Daily Nation article shaming Nyeri for not having a mall.
Here’s the latest fact sheet by the CRA
Nyeri ni home base. High quality of life. Minimal pollution. Clean drinking water from rivers Gura, Chania etc. We have servant leaders like Dedan Kimathi, Mwai Kibaki, Wangari Maathai, Wangombe Waihura, Wahome Gakuru, Mwalimu Kahiga et al. Clean simple towns like Nyeri town, Karatina, Ichamara, Othaya, Chaka, Naromoru, and others. A scenic landscape of mountains Kenya and Aberdares. Plenty of fresh foods from Kieni constituency. Coffee and tea from Tetu, Othaya, Mathira. Excellent performing schools like Kagumo, Nyeri high, Bishop Gatimu Ngandu girls, Mahiga girls, Othaya boys etc.
This video is quite informative on this matter. I was also doubtful that Isiolo has better tree cover than say Nyandarua but Google suggested the same. Thank you for providing such a vital source on this matter.
Can you provide data that shows a correlation between eating pizza and happiness index? I would definitely be interested in seeing it from that angle as well…but data first.
Do you have data to the contrary? Officially, Nyeri has the highest life expectancy in the entire country according to the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) fact sheet published yesterday.
Don’t engage me in a stupid back and forth if you can’t provide any other credible data to the contrary.
