I used to know a white guy living in Kiambu Fourways junction. Somewhat decent place but the road leading up to it was the most insecure piece of tarmac this side of the Limpopo river.
I assume it will be the same story with Northlands. Anywhere with a sharp divide between the haves and have-nots will always be crime ridden.
Surprised they don’t teach these simple socioeconomics in Thika Road universities.
So they teach that at the collapsed Moi University?

Kawangware and lavington are neighbours and they live happily. And FYI Northlands borders the leafy and upmarket Kahawa Sukari estate.
Four ways junction is in Nairobi country just like the neighbouring Windsor hotel, runda, Habanos etc. Also from main road to Four ways is just 200 metres and there are caryards and a petrol station on both sides making the road the safest road 24hrs.
Wrong. Fourways is in Kiambu county. It’s safer now than it was even 5 years ago since they established the headquarters of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations on the same road that branches off to fourways, two rivers, rosslyn riviera and countless other businesses where the ruling Kikuyus have made significant investments that need to be protected from the criminal classes.
Interestingly, none of these businesses were touched during the Gen Z protests, but parliament was nearly burnt down.

Kenyans were protesting against the finance bill which had been passed by parliament, and incompetence by kaongo govt, shida yao haikuwa businesses. That is why protests were all over the country from mombasa to migori to isiolo and eldoret, lodwar, and bunge was attacked.

Yes. And that’s why the area is much more secure now, especially after former interior Cabinet Secretary, John Michuki issued the infamous ‘shoot-to-kill’ order in 2004. Who were the main victims of the FMJ rounds pointblank to the head? Ki----??

The map of Nairobi province (today called Nairobi county) has remained unchanged since the colonial times. The river between Fourways and Thindigua has always been the boundary between Nairobi and Kiambu and that is why Fourways is in Nairobi and thindigua on the other side of the river is in Kiambu. Kenyatta University, Kamiti prison, kahawa barracks, Githurai 44, kahawa west, marurui, Windsor hotel etc are also all in Nairobi county.

My homestead hapa murima is on 100acres complete with title deed. My rental flats in Nairobi also have title deeds. So?
