Wazito, can I install a water pump, preferably kadogo ka small scale just before my meter to boost water pressure ama Nairobi Water will hang me by my balls if they find out?
Shoot first, ask later. Ideally should be a metre after your water meter.

Actually it should be after your water reservoir. So maji ya Nairobi Water iende kwa tank then you can pump it.

The meter has a valve that regulates water pressure so as not to mess its mechanism inside. So adding a pump before will either:

[li]Do absolutely nothing or;[/li][li]Mess your meter[/li][/ul]
If you want into increase pressure into the house, the pump should go after the meter

A booster pump system consisting of two tanks, two float switches and of course piping and allied should sort you out. Use a professional. A design is easy to make based on the layout of your house and the Cowty water piping system.
