I’ve just registered and started paying for NHIF so I’m trying to find out if it’s worth it ama wanaruka mtu time ya shida. What’s your experience?
Would you recommend it to your loved ones?

Iko sawa. You will rest well knowing in case you or your family gets sick you have full in patient cover(at the least) in Category A hospitals ie all government hospitals for up to 180days regardless of ailment. Or Full cover on Category B hospitals. Ie mostly faith based hospitals and private hospitals that have signed the contract with them. That’s not counting the the side alone packages e.g. Dialysis 2 sessions per wk @ 9,800, radio therapy 25k for 6 sessions major chemotherapy @450k. Theatre costs of upto 800k. And byvthe way…in those 180 days bill iko fine 10m unatembea tu. For your little 500, which would’ve easily ended up on jaba lol
