@Mundu Mulosi ulikuwa na thread hapa juzi kuhusu hii, but figures zilikukanganya kiasi, hivi ndivyo kunakaa;

1.5% of your salo out and another 1.5% from your employer. For my case, this fund will definitely be collecting more than NHIF. NHIF for the year ending June 2018 collected 32.9billion from normal members and 12.7billion from guys with special schemes e.g civil servants.
NHIF Annual Collections
Hii fund will collect around 40-60billion a year. Hii ni mara kadhaa ya NSSF which collected 12.9billion in the year ended 2016, wait and see vile hiring of its MD and board itakuwa na drama. Mbesha fari fari.

My parting shot is, we are creating a government that is too big, way too big, this ogre might eat us one day. No wonder MPs walinyamaza jana, hii ni pesa inatosha kuwahonga vizuri sana.

Kampuni za chuma na simiti lazima zitafutiwe kazi. Yaani heri ufe lakini ujengewe nyumba kwa lazima.

NHIF AND NSSF are poorly managed that’s why nobody wants them audited if managed well they can change an ordinary Kenyan life …add this to that mix and somebody is smiling all the way to the bank!!!..half monalisa smile

shithole country

Where do we get to draw a line as taxpayers? I mean the government cannot continue eating into our ever decreasing income indefinitely for projects we don’t give a fuck about

They need to be audited from yesterday. Nobody in this country is bigger than the country’s’ money or interests. If the institutions need to be restructured, let them be.

Thanks @shocks it does not seem to be a bad idea, problem is the government is just looking for money to pay debts. They will deal with the housing issue later.

I agree, Ile quote ya road to hell na good intentions comes to mind

Timidity. Our problem. As Kenyans. That ‘bora uhai’ quote will be the end of us…

Sioni hii pesa ikijenga nyumba ata moja. Gava is broke, and needs money to pay debts and pay cronies. If they don’t, they can very easily be overthrown. Being broke is fatal to any government because you won’t even have money to pay police to suppress uprisings.

G.o.K is broke, courtesy of Uhuruto first time. The plunder that was witnessed in this country during that time is unprecedented.
Tutalipa mpaka ile pesa ilibebwa kwa ngunia na sweetie. That time some of us were cheering their tribesmen, lakini sasa, ni kila mtu na paycheck yake .
More taxes ought to be added, till common sense becomes common.

Just like NHIF and NSSF, most of this money will be gobbled up in administrative expenses. The few housing units built from the remaining money will be swiftly taken up by the Fat Cats (who will probably use money stolen from elsewhere).

This is just digging one hole to fill another.

Nyumba zitajengwa, wataiba upande wa tendering na allocation

Another multi billion shilling scandal in the making. Scandals have now become part of our economy.

As usual bila lube

umetoa hii wapi pls…niskumie link

This time we are screwed to make it worse increased tax on airtime, mobile money transfers, candy, kerosene powerbills and food etc

If the citizens have to pay for it, then the tendering and allocation should be made public. We should be allowed to scrutinize all the qoutes and their previous projects.

Allocation should be made based on a lottery system and verifiable income, pay slips bank statements and tax returns, meaning that people above a set income level should not be considered for low income housing.
It’s ridiculous and shameful to have senior civil servants and cabinet ministers allocated low income housing in highrise estate and when questioned they claim they have a right as Kenyans. What part of low income don’t they get???:rolleyes:

The document ama?
Ndio hio.

Vile umesema ndivyo iko kwa karatasi, lakini wakenya tulipenda ujanja ujanja?
