NAIVASHA PORT NONSENSE

This idea of clearing cargo in Naivasha isn’t fair. Mombasa people must resist this by all means. This government is run by thugs!

That’s very bad
Naivasha wapi?? It’s in suswa.

Spear akiweka picha za SGR you were cheering the development as well. So kula ujeuri na umeze na ile fanta orange.

Accept and move on.

Read this article… Uganda will soon start importing through Tanzania. You cant pay almost double the amount through SGR by force.

And why should Mombasa people protest. They are not the owners of the habour or the sgr. Kila kitu hapo ni mali ya serikali.

If the government of Kenya decides to move JKIA from Nairobi to Nakuru can you really stop them?

The govt. of Tanzania moved from Dar-esalaam to Dodoma. Utapinga kama nani?

These GoK greediness will cost this country. That ICD was an after thought,SGR should get to Malaba.period.

Absolutely true! But Tanzania isn’t easy to deal with

A lot of Kenyans import through Tanzania leave alone Ugandans
Business is all about profits. If profits are rattled, expect major changes .Apparently James Macharia is adamant na habanduki. Why should a company in Uganda with its owns trucks Forced to pay using SGR?.Imagine having your own trucks ni mafuta tu unaweka na kulipa driver halafu unaambiwa lipa almost 100k for what?.World trade organisation will sanction Kenya for this bulshit.By the time things go back to normal, Tanzania will have a huge chunk of imporers

Yeah, hiyo place huwa Suswa which is near Narok than Naivasha. But gava husema Naivasha na sijawahi jua kwa nini

Niaje Kafiri

Iko hapa karibu na Narok… I just look at the area. The lack of supporting infrastructure hao madereva watalala wapi. Then the facts that this is a major highway sio kama border ama port. The road already has steady flow of traffic connecting Kisii, Bomet and even Kisumu. Ongeza 18 wheelers and you get madness. I just wonder who even thought about this

In life, change is inevitable. Just like traditional Kenyan taxi drivers rioted against the introduction of cab hailing apps in Kenya, razed down a few vehicles, however, nothing stopped the change.

Same with will happen to long-distance haulers against the ICD at Suswa. They will issue out threats, riot but months later they will be forced to either follow goverment policies or close shop.

Coast people are little more than lazy cowards.

Devolution came along and instead of using it to develop their marginalized areas, most of them voted for ODM sex addicts who spent every other waking moment in Nairobi clubs with expensive whores, buying huge mansions all over and of course giving money to the conman of Bondo.

Here they are finally awoken to the reality that their precious port is gone to the family that has caused them so much suffering since 1963 and yet nothing has happened in Coast. Any other self respecting people would have rioted and made their stand known. Only Moha Jicho Pevu is saying anything.

Let’s see how many Coast MPs will stand with him on the impeachment of that parasite called Macharia. Less than 2 probably.

don’t you believe government policies can bring inefficiencies and kill entire industries without propping alternatives ?

Yes, a change in government policies can kill entire industries and also create new ones.

This particular change is good. The stakeholders against it have a fixed-mindset when they should view this move from the ‘bigger pie’ perspective.

Like the Ugandan firm claims one of the reason they are against the move is because they have made investments in Mombasa and transported goods same way for the last 35 years. Is this a reason good enough not to improve operations?

Factoring in the savings that Kenya will make due to lower axle loading by trucks on Mombasa-Nairobi highway (the road will last longer), reduction noise, air & vibration pollution, and reduced accident-related costs outweighs the negative implications of the move.

Hii base inaitwa Suswa, nikitengeneza tu lodging naweza make good money.

I see opportunity in narok. How much is 1/4 acre nearest the port?

Kwa shamba ya mtu
