Uhuru team have got entitlement issues and he really likes lording over others.
There’s a defeatist attitude that this country’s citizens have adopted that facilitates proper shafting by politicians.
The president himself once retorted “mnataka nifanye nini” and just summed up the Kenyan society.
How is this statement related to the Nairobi express way?
He likes lording over and hates alternative views because they are out to do bizness with state. A few people decides what project, how much it will cost, where it will be located how it will be financed without public participation or even at least parliament. The money would have been well spent building a railway network around nairobi using the existing railway lines and roads to decongest the city, but that can’t bring in money to their pockets.
The expressway cost 87 billion. Hiyo 194 billion imetoka wapi?
I believe all these projects are discussed at the govt level if not parliament and budgets are allocated according to the agreement reached. In this case does it mean that the CIC just woke up one day and said am doing the Nairobi expressway na sitaki maswali and that’s how the idea was conceived and implemented?
Do you not hear them complaining they have never seen some contracts like SGR
Don’t argue with this poor people…poverty of mind. They won’t understand. That’s why we make decisions in their behalf. Intellectually Lazy. There is nothing wrong with Nairobi Expressway project. Some of this critiques like Mlipuayote (ehom I know very well) have never undertaken an economic project for themselves or their children or parent. Don’t expose your ignorance by commenting on complex projects/programs.
CS Macharia said it was conceived when they were eating dinner
Poor people can barely afford fare how will they afford paying extra to use a road?
They can complain about anything and when push come to shove they will deny anything and everything just to be seen as safi kama pamba. How come it’s only now that they are raising the concerns while the project has been ongoing for as long as I can remember?
are you saying the ‘poor’ people have vehicles?
The poor are the majority. the project will not succeed without them
