True Driver matters had a nice race from kisumu to eldoret with better cars, fielder nishaihangaisha two subs heading to eld always smoking their brakes but realized we also have inexperienced drivers with machines.

Where can i get a good used car yard? staki kufanyiwa character dev gari ya kwanza

Watu wengi hawajui but sometimes it is cheaper to have a personal car than using matatus ukiconsider convenience na hata actual cost especially during holidays. Mtu anaenda Nakuru time ya Christmas with his family of 5 people atatumia less money in his 1000cc vitz than a matatu. At 20km/l, at 190 per litre, itakunywa kama 3100 bob. After 20th Dec fare ni kama 1200 just one way to Nakuru do that for 5 people. Halafu uconsider ile umati utapatana nayo stage and the fact that huwezi beba vitu mingi from Nairobi. It is a logistical nightmare for any family man. Kukuwa na family in Nairobi bila gari is severely limiting to any man. It doesn’t have to be a big car, even a vitz will do.

Hehehe that is precisely the function of a first car hahaha!.. That is, if you do not come from a dynastic family that had owned a car growing up…

Your first car should be a jalopy that teaches you everything about cars at little to no costs in terms of mechs, tools you must have in your boot, repairs costs for those times you will get in a ditch na mambo kama hayo…

or the thousand ways that can make a car suddenly stall and how to trouble shoot it back to life…

Plus tuning your ear to noises you will come to identify and their sources and causes… Pamoja na smells and what they mean… Which type of smoke to jump out with a fire extinguisher or keep driving for another couple of hundred Kms… hahaha!..

Wueh!.. This should have been a hekaya thread of the first car experience for first time drivers…

WISDOM CALLS, LISTEN!

Why would you recommend that boss?

Banae!!! People have horror stories about their first car. I was lucky that I bought a car in a relatively good condition as a first car. My only nightmare was that it took me a while to master the handshake with the traffic police. Nilikuwa nikisimamishwa juu ya speed nakuwa tense mbaya but once I mastered the handshake, hata time zingine traffic wakinisimamisha kwa highway Na hawana spikes ama motorbike on standby nilikuwa nawaashia mataa kama nimepita mbio sana knowing they wouldn’t bother following me or calling ahead.
