Nyerere here is speaking the truth… And I bet that it is all over Africa…Boundaries were made for the benefit of the occupiers and had little regard of the composition and the bundaries of local tribes… Somalis in Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia… Tesos, Luos in Kenya and Uganda… etc… So, what should we do…? United Tribes of Africa???

His command of English language, is one of the best I have heard of African. There’s no “ehhhhh,” or “ahhhh” you hear from Africans. Very clear and concise. No repeating words or pauses to look for words.

The problem is not unique to Africa. Eastern Europe have to split up states such as Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia because of tribal conflicts to come up with smaller homogenous states such as Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Montenegro etc.
In Kenya, we complain every time our Somali citizens associate with their relatives in Somalia. They are one people and identify as one nation, even if governed by different states.
