Ms. Rose Njeri's Message

Ms: Rose Njeri’s message to Kenyans after being released on KES: 100,000 cash bail.

:hot_springs:

Looking at the charge sheet one can’t help but see the desperation in Ruto’s administration.

Njeri has been charged on flimsy grounds of creating a system that sends mass emails to a parliamentary address ([email protected]) allegedly “interfering with normal operations of the system.”

This is despite the fact that that specific email is a public email address through which Kenyans are supposed to submit their views on proposed finance bills..!!!

Basically they are charging her for generating a system that allows Kenyans who didn’t even know that email or how to submit their views for using it as intended and enabling more people to give their feedback on proposals in Finance Bill 2025.

What is public participation exactly if not what Njeri has facilitated ..???

It’s clear Ruto is working so hard to stifle dissent and prevent Kenya’s youth from holding him to account on bad governance policies.

It is clear Ruto hates youth who are enlightened and can use technology for civic education.

It is clear Ruto hates that Kenya’s youth are bright enough to exercise their civil liberties.

It is clear Ruto hates the 2010 Constitution and given an option he would mutilate it to reverse the freedoms that allow youth to hold him to account for corruption, bad governance and impunity.

The Struggle will Continue.
Kuzurura Bila Break will end very soon.

@rexxsimba what is the maximum number of kenyans who can email government agencies per day? we are 50 million.

When taking money from kenyans pockets, their systems can handle millions of transactions per second, but when its our turn to seek information from them, too many enquiries will interfere with the normal operation of their looting machines.

Actually, this silly girl got off with a slap on the wrist. Under the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act (2018), she could have been easily charged with any of these:

  1. Section 29 – Unauthorized Interference
If the mass emails involved unauthorized access or disrupted parliamentary communication systems, it could fall under this section.
Penalty: Up to 5 years in prison or KSh 10 million fine.

  2. Section 27 – Cyber Harassment
If the emails include threats, abusive language, or are meant to cause fear, anxiety, or harassment to MPs or staff, they could fall under this section.
Covers: Intimidation, blackmail, coercion, persistent unwanted communication.
Penalty: Up to 10 years in prison or KSh 20 million fine.

  3. Section 31 – False Publications
If the mass emails contain false or misleading information with intent to cause panic, discredit, or incite discontent, this section could apply.
Penalty: Up to 10 years in prison or KSh 5 million fine.

  4. Section 36 – Sending Offensive Content
Sending obscene, offensive, or indecent content to public officials is criminalized.
Includes: Grossly offensive or indecent messages.
Penalty: Up to 3 years in prison or KSh 300,000 fine.

Say what you want about parliamentarians, but they are parents too. 100k is practically nothing compared to even 3 months pale Lang’ata women’s prison.

Tyrants , Dictators and Oppressors all over the world never respect the Law..

Putin , Assad , Trump , Museveni , Mama Samia Suluhu , Mr Wantam
They are all the same ..

They make their own rules or try to modify existing ones to suit their goals and purposes ..

You and I both know the existing technology platforms can handle any amount of traffic ..

You never hear Banks , Insurance Companies , MPESA , NSSF and the like complain ..

And in any case , we are not told with any truthfulness how many Kenyans really responded.

And there seems to be plenty of money and resources to bribe ( compensate ) the Legistlature , pay First Ladies Annual Budgets , go joyriding around the globe , purchase giant “official” motorcades , helicopters , political donations , white elephant and red herring projects and maintainance of Mistress and Bimbos and open theft of public resources ..

But we never seem to have enough to feed hungry destitute school children , provide free basic education , Health Services , Linda Mama and decent basic public Infrastructure.

A time will come when removing them from power will no longer be a solution..

It is time for more drastic measures..

Shenzi Kabisa , all of them ..!!:hot_springs:
