Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has apologized over hate speech remarks attributing terrorism to certain Kenyan communities.“I regret my comments. To the extent that I attributed terrorism to certain communities, I regret and apologise” Said the MP at the NCIC offices.The hate speech were on Kuria’s social media pages.Kuria has also agreed to place an apology in all major newspapers and issue another verbal apology at a public forum.This follows reconciliation efforts by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC).Kuria had applied for reconciliation in court after the Law Society of Kenya sued him over the remarks.
