Gov. Okoth defected from his PDP party to odm. He gave babuon a sizeable gift when he came to migori to receive him into the party. Even the county renovated odm offices. He thought he will also get direct nominations like the rest. Instead ayacko quit his job in government at the nuclear board (ironically in his first rally he claimed Jubilee hires only two communities yet the ink had barely dried in his resignation letter) and took a bigger gift to babuon. Babuon sent his cheerleaders nyongo, junet and susutan hoho to go endorse ayacko as odm candidate. Well gov okoth unfortunately stormed the rally and bodyguards of the “leaders” exchanged gunfire. Yesterday storm has led gov. Okoth to defect and unilaterally join the contest for Jubilee nominations ticket.
I’m not going to support him after yesterday incident but hey, the comedy is writing itself.
By declaring openly for Jubilee, Obado may have signed his death warrant, but I can understand his indignation if JaKuon betrayed him that way, eating from two men and playing them against one another like a two-bit whore.
