Mindo Krass Wrong Moves

Boss, not everybody goes to CBD for work. Only wage slaves think from that perspective.

Guess where there’s traffic? Kilimani itself with those tiny roads riddled with potholes.

My girlfriend got pregnant while I was living with my parents.Moved in with her na tuliishi maisha mbaya, the village laughing stock.alivumilia the humiliation, 10 years down Tuko kwa mansion.
The goal is to attain financial freedom and build family wealth that will last generations. You get a woman who will understand this and is willing to sacrifice mtaenda mbali sana.

Are you sure your response corresponds to my comment? The problem of Canada not mandating English/ French comprehension tests.

My rent is a tiny fraction of my income. Most of my spare cash I am investing in crypto. I get my returns while also keeping my flexibility rather than anchoring myself and my family to this shithole called Kenya, which is the absolute worst move you can make financially. The real money is in the international markets, a wise man will do everything possible to expose his family to them instead of locking them down to some godforsaken third world country

Your problem is assuming there is an actual middle class in Kenya. There are less than 100K out of a population of 50 million kenyans who can afford to do those things. In a normal country, a middle class makes up 50-60% of the population. In Kenya only 0.002% of the population can do those things

The person you are calling middle class represents 0.0001% of the population. That is the upper class of kenya. Please correct your post or shutup

Pesa ndio iko international but it also stretches further in our shithole kenya so I think it’s the best of both worlds.

It’s much easier to get the opportunities when you are a resident of a developed country. For non-residents, regulatory restrictions are high which makes them only hire a few candidates who they deem worth the hassle

Owning a house/home is very important, hence why everywhere you go in the world, owning your dwelling is considered an accomplishment. Its a human thing. And it will not anchor you to one place. Its not like when you build a house, your rear end is nailed to it you can’t relocate to other parts of the country/world when opportunity comes knocking. Its the same as owning rentals. If you need to move, you can rent it out (at whatever cost, as long as it generates income). Its all about opportunity cost.

Another thing is, you can have as much ‘fuck you’ money as you can gather, but you’ll only utilise what is in your immediate vicinity. All the other money rotting in the bank or in investments is money just massaging your ego but not adding any real value/utility in your life. The final ‘fuck you’ is, you’ll die and you’ll leave all that money and property here where your porn-addled sons and whoring daughters will waste it.

For those who like bragging ‘sikusoma’, the short of it is, hiyo yote ni vanity.

I couldn’t agree more. The average Kenyan is actually a peasant earning less than 100k/month. Shida ni the few moneyed people get all the attention on IG. The silent majority have nothing to flex with so they just consume the content without posting anything. Halafu uongeze people only post highlights on IG - their most defining moments. I have seen multiple times people flexing on IG kwanza December then January ghasia inakuomba loan ya 20k.

Ukweli ni there is a very small middle class in Kenya. There are real ballers, and then there are the peasant majority. Most of the wealth is owned by a few people and everyone else just survives.

Upuss. Owning a house is not like owning rentals.

  1. The ROI of renting out a house is half that of rentals at best. Eg…a 15M house will only rent out for 75k max while a 15M rental project will yield 150k. A house is a terrible investment if you try to rent it out and become a landlord. This is exactly why I enjoy renting houses because I benefit at the landlord’s expense.
  2. A house relies on just one tenant. If you have a rental project, you can have like 20 bedsitters so you rely on 20 people. Your income is more secure with rentals than a single house. More tenants = more stability because they can’t all default or leave at the same time.

So yes. A personal residence ties you down and that’s not debatable. If you want to leave, the only sensible way of unlocking your value from the house is selling it, not renting it out. Selling a house at a good price is another nightmare in itself. Rentals don’t tie you down as much. A house is a wonderful utility but a terrible asset.

Ideally, you should have both. But if you have to choose 1 (due to limited resources), I would rather get the rentals than the house any day.

haha huyo mubaba wa parastatal ni nani

sasa zingine wewe hubonga sense kipii

Henga kwako ukipata pesa wachiana. Haikufungi hata kidogo.

Didn’t I just say that a house is a wonderful utility? A utility ni kitu unatumia lakini haikupatii pesa.

Shida you think everyone lives in Nairobi. Outside nairobi watu wanajenga nyumba and live comfortably with a kitchen garden hapo kando and a huge space ya kufanya extra projects ama activities. Wewe kilimani you live on the 10th floor unaloose reality na maisha. Building a house is more advantageous than renting. Hio nayo usibishane hapo.
