People should not compare Our general with bhang smoker. Kenyans love Miguna for being honest on the issues affecting Kenyans. Huyu mwingine fame yake Ni juu ya kuongea vitu haziwezekani.
Which Kenyans love Miguna? The guy got 9,000 votes in Nairobi out of 1.5 million casted in 2017 governors race. That is less than 1%. Hata mama anauza nyanya kwa stage will get more. I bet you Wajackoyah will get 10 times more.
Even Jesus was hated by most, condemned by the crowds and sentenced to crucifixion over an outright criminal. What kind of reverence would one give to the average Kenyan voter, who chose Mbuzi over him? Who voted an drunk incompetent into office three times? Who elevated a pompous, arrogant looter into governorship right after she gobbled billions with nothing to show for it as a Cabinet Secretary? Please, @Miguna miguna and this other fellow don’t play in the same league and therefore should never be mentioned in the same breath.
Thats not the argument here. I was just countering the narrative that Miguna is liked. He’s not. He’s just entertaining, to many. An amusement, so to speak. Nobody cares that you can build a high speed rail in Nairobi, when many residents cannot afford two meals a day.
He isn’t there to be “liked”; he is demanding and agitating for his rights, and for the rights and freedoms of both those who are and aren’t even modestly awake or aware that they deserve better in terms of the quality of life and standards of living, and for better governance and accountability of those who occupy public office. That such serious matters can be reduced to “entertainment” by people who are supposed to be voters is not only laughable but tragic.
And he also loses points by obsessing over one man. He eats, drinks and sleeps one man. What rights are these?
Simiyuuu… tuma dorras buaaan wachaa storyy migiiii
Huyu mama wa nyanya alipata votes kuliko miguna ako wapi?
Hakujaribu. Realize that Miguna is very arrogant. And he sees himself as an elitist. Kaa wale wasee uishi Runda. So he doesn’t associate with common people. Ka hauvai suti, he will avoid a conversation with you.
When he was running for office, he went to KU for a meeting. After that meeting, a bunch of students saw him and gathered outside and waited for an audience with him. Excellent opportunity to sell himself to an increasing crowd which was climbing through the hundreds. But Naaah. They were too low level for him. He jumped into his Mercedes’ and drove home to Runda for supper.
Don’t think he did door to door campaigning pale Kaloleni. Too much dust uko. Jamaa campaigned only on Twitter.
