Who is to benefit if gulf countries lose ability to supply oil? If I had stumbled on unlimited oil in Venezuela, I would be the one to benefit, and I would bomb some gulf countries and say it’s Iran, or at least start a sequence of events that would lead to them getting bombed so I can sell my oil.
