Wapendwa tushukuru Mungu kwa Yale yote ametufanyia mwaka huu mgumu wa 2020. If you don’t have money to buy gifts for your kids, thank God He has gifted you with children. If you don’t have anyone to celebrate the festive season with, go out and buy something to eat for the destitute and thank God you can put a smile on the face of another person. If you are lonely remember the promise of Jesus, I will never leave you nor forsake you. If you broke up with someone you loved this year and are nursing a broken heart or your loved one passed on remember the promise of God in the Psalms that the Lord is close to those with broken hearts and crushed spirits.
I know it’s been a difficult year but still God is on the throne and God specializes in solving tough problems that are beyond us. As Jesus said, with men it is impossible but with God all things are possible. Take heart and find rest in His everlasting arms.
As you make merry over Christmas don’t forget that Jesus is the reason for the season, it may not be the exact date or even season Jesus was born but it’s the thought that counts. Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely deem. The Lord is good, the Lord is kind, the Lord is merciful, Jesus really is everything.
At the appointed time God sent His Son, born of a virgin to redeem those who were under the law that we may receive adoption as sons of God now that we are His children, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts. And His Spirit tells us that God is our Father.
Unto us a Child is given, unto us a Son is born. The government will rest on His shoulders. And He will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
