The disciplined forces had Daudi Tonje (He is the reason the disciplined forces move as one)
IEBC had Chebukati (He has set precedence of men preserving the sanctity of an election in trying times)
The Judiciary had Maraga (He set precedence that the SCOrK is there to check the excesses of the executive)
The opposition has RAO (Nuff said)
The Economy had Kibaki (Nuff said)
The second liberation had Matiba
We will feel the impacts of the decisions these men made for generations to come.
Kenya had Tom Mboya and JM kariuki - nuff said

Great as they were, JM and Tom Mboya didn’t leave any lasting legacies (maybe they were taken too soon)
Like Tom Mboya on Trade Unions didn’t move as much ground as Atwoli

Kwanza hawa wawili. If you know, you know.
JM Kariuki created lots of wealth for himself while holding public office, why not replace him with Kagia ?

If you at any time try to look for perfect men, you’ll never find them…
Let’s look at a few:
Martin Luther King - Great liberator, but hopeless womanizer
Mahatma Gandhi - Great liberator of his people, hopeless racist.
RAO, WSR, UHURU - Great leaders, yet still corrupt, power hungry, and war mongers when it helps their course.
Mother Theresa - Great humanitarian, hopeless racist.
MAUMAU - Great liberators, murderous butchers of innocent men, women, and children of their own kind.
Mandela - Great liberator, still protected the oppressors at the expense of the oppressed.
The thing is that the nature of heroes isn’t that they are error free, it’s that they do more good than harm
The only great man who lived was Jesus Christ. Achieved everything by age 33. Everyone else has a dark side that they struggle to suppress by that age.
Thats your opinion.
All those above had their short comings too. We just want to look at them through a specific lens which only sees the bright side.
under maraga judiciary ili slide back to its chieth-days.
mutunga ndiye ali transform judiciary to what it is today.

True, Mutunga was a stickler to the rule of law…
But without Maraga, RUTO wouldn’t be president.
Maraga demanded an almost outlandish threshold for election transparency… way higher than Mutunga. I believe Mutunga’s position was more jurisprudentially consistent, but the silver lining to Maraga’s demands was that we had the most transparent election on the planet!

Kwanza MauMau has been sanitized Sana, and yet they were also bloodthirsty killers who killed more of their kind than the perceived enemy. Sure they were liberation heroes but the other side of their atrocities needs to spoken.
Weka General China na Dr GW Griffin Kwa hiyo list.
JM despite his generosity and common man vibe was a 1970s sonko-style politician. Read about his humongous wealth and large tracts of land in nyandarua and Nakuru yet he was just a young man. Unashindwa alipata wapi hiyo Mali yote. Alianza kuattack the same wolves he was hunting with that’s why he was offed
