Where i come from we dont abandon children and we dont have bastards. @uwesmake still takes care of his 9 children from 7 different mothers. And he religiously takes them to uhuru park every 1st sunday of the month for outings and bonding sessions.

Recently I had a female friend who kept telling me how she will need to conceive another child in a year or so (she is a mother of a daughter). Then began getting closer than close, even one day invited me to come visit ‘them’.
Hapo I decided to cut her off immediately although she is such a great person as a friend. I anticipated a situation where we will be in some compromising position ‘by mistake’ which may result in a child.
To imagine that I would have my blood somewhere where I have no control really scared me, regardless of whether she would require my participation in raising the child. It’s not like she mentioned it, this played in my mind and it was scary enough

I was talking to a kao lady and she told me out of the blue that one of Betty Kyallos sister was selling her ovaries in college to earn money. I was mortified. When I was going through my baby fever phase I was doing alot of research on donors bcz I wanted to use a white donor and I liked the screening of over 300 test a requirement in the EU. So I read about this guy who donated his sperm to a couple suffering male infertility, it was an open ID so the child could reach out to her biological dad at 18. Her parents didn’t want her to know that her dad was a donor. The dad was going crazy wanting to meet his daughter but he couldn’t. The anguish that guy went through. That’s when I realized that blood is thicker than water. A worse case was of a man who donated to his brother who was infertile and impregnated his wife of course artificially. At the end of it, they became enemies bcz his brother did not want him anywhere near the child.
Mambo ya damu ni mzito. I really wonder how you can sleep at night not knowing if your child has eaten or if they are safe. As you eat do you wonder if he or she has eaten? Some people are insane. They actually think abandoning their kids is a macho thing to do. It’s pure self hate. That is how you can tell that you don’t love yourself. If you can throw away your kid and you sleep very well at night.

Is this really factual? We have never encouraged anyone to abandon his kids, what was said is if your baby mama is toxic and is using your kids to frustrate you, as a last resort you should consider forgetting those kids and moving on. Anyway, we never reached a consensus on this issue.
