I remember when covid began in December 2019, most people laughed it off, calling it a “chinese virus,” as if it were nothing. Meh. Life went on as usual, with hardly anyone taking it seriously. Even in the final days before everything shut down, Congress was consumed with impeaching Trump, blind to the storm that was about to hit.

Now it feels like history is repeating itself. Aside from a small minority, most people are either unaware of or indifferent to the devastating crisis unfolding in the Middle East. Wake up!!!

Dear God, please help us all. We need you more than ever before.
