Am working on an excel file 70MB in size.The problem is when I am working on the file excel just freezes and restarts.

What data is this that makes the file that big? I once had a report, just usual reports whose size would be expected to be in the range of KBs, but was 20MBs. Ilinisumbua trying to figure out what’s making it big. I exported individual worksheets to new files later recompiled them into a new workbook 800kbs.
Unless ni voter register, 70mbs is too big.

Just use a different machine for the job,lenovo thinkpad T-series is useful for that kind of work…hio machine inakuanga workhorse

70mb? unless the file you are working on has formulas. just copy it n paste it as values in a new workbook, it will be easier working on it that way

Do you really have to use excel?? how about you use stata/python do all your stuff then outsheet or export the excel files? I work with nearly as large csvs and i find it easier to use stata.
