For the historically challenged in here ..
In the 1500s -1600s , various European settlers began arriving at the Cape Province of South Africa ( ..illegal Immigrants..) and grabbing African Land ..
Several Years ( ..and Wars..) later , the indigenous Black population were killed off in mass genocides , marginalized , enslaved and the rest banished into scattered “Tribal Homelands” aided and abbetted by “friendly” traitor Chiefs and assorted sellouts.
Fast forward to the 1900s ..
The White Boers had established themselves as the rulling class and the Apartheid System was entrenched…
Of South Africa’s 65 million population..
7.7% were white who owned 78% of all arable farmland in South Africa..!!
This is the mess that President Nelson Madiba Mandela (RIP)walked into at Independence.
Via consultations with all stakeholders , it was generally agreed that an Equitable Land Redistribution Policy was needed to address this anomaly although there was some resistance and the matter is still being debated in political spaces and in South African Courts.

More Black Farmers than whites have died as a result of criminal violence in South Africa.
(.. in fact , Trump should have been told that more Blacks in the USA have died as a result of white and institutional violence..!!).
