-He says a small seasonal stream has for ages run through a tunnel under the railway.
-On friday morning there was a landslide that blocked the tunnel
-Water then pooled behind the blocked tunnel for 3 days, the water level rose by about 100m.
-Then area around the tunnel collapsed at 3am monday night and all the trapped water moved downstream sweeping everything on its path.
-The area where this happened is next to the kijabe hotsprings.
