He and the drunk Prez too were beneficiaries of “election thuggery” in 2013 & 2017.
Wembe ni ule, ule. He’s now crying foul.
The only credible election that has ever been held in post independent Kenya was in 2002. Even the census that are carried out every 10 years are “cooked”.
I have no horse in the race. Just wouldn’t want the thug Ruto to be President. He is not fit for that office with his checkered past.
That being said, we’ve had 3 Kikuyu Presidents and a Kalenjin. We’ve also had numerous Vice-Presidents that have been Kikuyu, a Kalenjin and a Deputy President that is Kalenjin.
The majority and average of Kikuyus and Kalenjins are still dirt broke and struggling. Just like the rest of the tribes that have neither had a Predident, Vice President or Deputy from their tribe.
The ones that have benefitted are the small clique around them and immediate families.
So I could give a flying f**k who becomes President apart from Ruto. Just like I was vehemently opposed to Uhuru becoming one. He was lazy, a drunk, never ever knew what the value of hard work entailed and pampered.
Some Kenyans are about to repeat the same mistake on August 9th by voting for that thug and thief from Sugoi and starting whining immediately thereafter.
I concur with you… I also dont care who becomes president as long as its not that genocidal maniac. Infact, I have many people I would prefer besides Raira but he has the numbers and the others dont. I wouldnt mind people like Kalonzo, Peter kenneth, Kibwana, Madvd, Mukhisa or even Gideon Moi.
What Ruto did in 2007 and his corruption record make him utterly unfit for the office. Not to mention him picking a typical 80s Kanu Youth Winger to be his running mate
Even Kenyatta has publically called him a thief and that he should learn to control his ambitions. This is not a man to put in power
You should be worried when busy bodies politicize security instruments, from where i sit it can turn ugly very fast. Uhuru Kenyatta as the president has one job, ensure whoever wins inherits one country as a whole. What certain cabinet secretaries are doing in admiration of certain quaters can burn our fingers, yours involved too.
If Kibicho/Matiangi/Mucheru and that Agriculture PS don’t tone down am afraid we are on the wrong track, National prayers won’t cut it. Blatant Weaponisation of ministries is a no; esp with constitutional safe guards against the same. If 2007 didn’t teach us a lesson we are more than willing to repeat the same apparently…it def concerns me:but its beyond us, those in power better do sober politics!
