@administrator I suggest the comments in a thread be sorted by number of likes ndio mtu apate meaningful info of the thread, on the first page.
@administrator I second
The most liked are often the most meaningless.
Nangonjea comment ya @ChifuMbitika …
Kama comment za uwes za ghaseer zina likes mingi
Bad idea, like the one of down-voting. That’s one way to foster ‘group-think’ and alienate some users who for whatever reason don’t get likes.
Every (or most) threads and comments should matter. Like @thesavage said, the most likes are usually given to meaningless or abusive comments so what’s the point? You’ll just be encouraging toxic people to misbehave. If ain’t broken don’t fix it!
I am sure we can compromise on a few insults on a whole page with useful comments as supposed to having the next six comments spelling out ‘UMEFFI’.
Many likes here are nonsense bwana, unataka tu ujilikane
It’s not worth it. The less social media-esque ktalk can be, the better/less toxic for everyone’s mental health. An NV’s comment should carry just as much weight as a VC/VS because it should never about the writer of the message, but the content. But you know how it goes. Well-known talkers get more likes, for no good reason really.
It’s not fair to the regular riff-raff talkers because my comments would always be on top. I humbly request the admin to continue giving a voice to the voiceless.
Finish that Antelope.
I concur with the OP
Thank you! like most liked comment comes on top right?
Precisely, it will improve the ktalk experience.
Downvoting/Dislike should also be enabled so that poor quality comments gets a “post hidden due to poor quality” wrapper after attain a set threshold of downvotes/dislikes.
