Very flimsy case. Sijasoma kesi yet but from gazeti opinion don’t see how that verdict will stand appeal. Kenya unaweza convictiwa ovyo sana.

Nimetafuta hio ruling nikakosa. However I am sure huyo jaji Roseline Korir (too many judges name Roseline/roselyn kwa case search) hajui maana ya proof beyond reasonable doubt, because after 10 years, prosecutor can only prove Thuo was poisoned. Who done it, why and when exactly, nobody knows. Rumours back in the day, had it, that some ICC suspect was managing witnesses and Thuo had provided transport PEV na basi zake. How the judge rules that all six, including waitress, club owner, employees and patrons kwa meza conspired to poison a beer bottle, with evidence beyond reasonable doubt ndiyo nakosa. After 10 years it is really a BS case by the prosecution from what I can see bila actual judgement.
I think this is another case that goes unresolved hata kama wamefunga watu sita, I think the one with motive the master planner anaenjoy maisha waiting to strike again. Hawa wasee wote most hawana motive na sioni vile one needs to include mtu sita kuweka sumu kwa drink.

Wanasema case ya Jowie is also flimsy even with her dna on his body. Appeal is not a trial per se. You are just trying to poke holes in the use of facts.
The judge was very clear in her ruling. It was a planned murder. Walishindwa to explain their actions.

Very pedestrian reasoning. So if suspect x ordered a beer in a pub, how does it tie the other 5 much less suspect x. Kufunga 6 people bila sufficient evidence does not bring back Thuo. Judge seems to make leaps of faith instead of following evidence. Circumstantial evidence sio kumaanisha you imprison everybody who was present at the pub. Running a pub without 360 24/7 CCTV is asking for trouble anyways.
