Generally they differ on trim levels.
Airbags, Climate control, Audio, Rear Screens among other things.
These are called trims and apply to both Petrol and Diesel Prados. It is about the extras the Prado has… RZ is a 3 door Prado, TX is a basic Prado with basic features like cloth seats, no heated seats, no height control, etc… VX-L is a Local trim with highest features on a Prado which compares to Kakadu in Australia and TZ-G from Japan… The highest trims will have all the extras a Prado can have e.g. leather seats, height control for the rear, 7 seats, heated seats, cooler on hand rest, etc…

T is 6 cylinder . V is 8 cylinder.

Not correct… VX-L Diesel for the 1GD is actually 4 cylinder… VX & VX-L Petrol were V6 not V8… TZ-G Petrol before 2014 was actually V6… Now TZ-G Diesel is 4 cylinder…
