Kumbe Gaza Has a Border with Egypt?

Mi hua nashangaa mbona watu hu blame Israel ati imeweka blockade hapo Gaza hence making it to look lika an open air prison. Little did I know that the area has a border with Egypt on the southern part. So it means pia Egypt wamefunga hio border yao. Why do people also blame this country and demand them to open that border? Alafu Egypt ni waarabu. Mbona wafungie their brothers? kwani hawapendani?

The international border is controlled by Israel

No, it is Egypt that controls it. Actually, they closed it totally today.

It’s controlled by Israel

The Egypt–Gaza border is the 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) long border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt. There is a buffer zone along the border which is about 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) long.

The Rafah Border Crossing is the only crossing point between Egypt and the Gaza Strip. It is located on the international border that was confirmed in the 1979 Egypt–Israel peace treaty. Only passage of persons takes place through the Rafah Border Crossing; as such, the Egypt-Gaza border is only open to the passage of people, not of goods. All cargo traffic must go through Israel, usually through the Israeli-controlled Kerem Shalom border crossing on the Gaza–Israel barrier.

People can cross over through the Egyptian controlled area. Goods must pass through the Israel area. Why do egypt block Palestinians from leaving gaza?

Shenzi kabisa. Kipii zaidi. Israel does not control the border between Gaza and Egypt. How Does that even make sense to you ama Ruto amekuibia pia akili?

They have a large barrier between Israel and Egypt. Gaza is not recognized as an international country, they are still a nation within israel. They’re not a fully sovereign country in control of their borders

Kwanini uko mzembe hivo??? Nazionist Israhell did not exist before 1948… Use that line to do more research.

Hii nikama kusema kenyans (kikuyus, luo etc) did not exist before 1890 when mzungu drew the map of kenya. The Jews existed in the area before 1948. The region has had different names over time eg. Canaan, Judea, the romans renamed it from Judea to Filistina (Palestine) after defeating the Jews, then the Jews renamed it Israel after defeating the palestinian arabs.
