Kitengela Royal School Launched as Isinya DCC Ratemo Pushes for Stronger Education Investment

A new private school has opened its doors in Kitengela, with national and county leaders calling for greater investment in education as a driver of growth. The school, located in Kimalat area off Namanga Road, was officially launched by newly posted Isinya Sub County Deputy County Commissioner Ruben Ratemo.

Ratemo said the opening of Kitengela Royal School is a major boost for the community. He noted that quality schools attract families, create jobs and contribute directly to development. He added that this kind of investment strengthens the foundation of future generations.

Ratemo said the government will support the school by ensuring it operates in a safe environment and receives proper guidance from education officials. He encouraged residents to embrace the school as part of their community.

Kitengela Royal School Director Veronicah Mutua said the institution was created to offer a complete learning environment for young learners. She said the school will focus on strong academics, creativity, and character building.

Kajiado County Education Board Chairperson Angela Lapasi said the launch represents a shared commitment to raising education standards. She noted that the school will support learners and bring long term benefits to the community.

Kitengela Royal School has facilities for kindergarten, primary and junior school learners. It offers modern science and computer labs, arts and sports spaces, and spacious classrooms. The management plans to expand it into a full senior school in the coming years.
