I am always pained when I see well off Luo men marrying kikuyu women yet you wont find these kikuyu women being wives to poor luo men. And you will never find them in rural Luo Nyanza. Many of them manage to convince their luo husbands to buy property in Kiambu, the home ground of these women. I actually get disgusted when I imagine a big chunk of luo wealth eventually finds its way to central kenya through these marriages. It is very painful. Remember men naturally die before women so these okuyu women eventually end up with luo men’s wealth.
Even worse, kikuyus have betrayed luos when it comes to politics and its just bad when their women hoodwink luo men into marrying them.
These Okuyu men wont return hand and marry the gorgeous and hardworking luo women. Very hard to see a wealthy kikuyu man marrying a luo woman. That is why i personally find luo men with kikuyu wives as traitors.
It is high time kikuyu men returned favour and started marrying luo women. Luo women are actually submissive and wifely If you know how to handle them unlike kikuyu women who will even kill their husbands.
