Kenya and Mt Kenya region included, does not have shortage of good competent and honest leaders, what we lack are good, competent and honest voters. And this is the biggest problem with democracy.
Because what is democracy? Democracy is a system of govt where power is divided among citizens in the form of votes. So if the majority of citizens are illiterate and semi illiterate especially on matters governance, then expect them (citizens/voters) to elect incompetent, shady, corrupt “leaders” over and over again.
So dont be surprised come 2027, Kenyans either reelecting Ruto or electing Gachagua as their new president.
