She was escorted to the venue in an armored Land Cruiser which was guarded by a fleet of ‘mambas’ and heavily armed soldiers, much to the bemusement of the locals.

There are always protocol issues involved when a VIP visits a sovereign Country.The number of armed body guards are kept at a bare minimum.The host Country provides the bulk of security.This is a case where soldiers of a neighboring country came in a contingent of over 200 armed with anti aircraft guns,APCs…si hii ni upuss?

So you think the president never knew it? He most likely gave the go ahead and armed forces were informed to avoid a clash. The premise is that after all, Turkana people cant complain much. It would have been a different story elsewhere.
