Tanzanian police in Arusha have arrested a Kenyan national, Denis Ogesa, 28, from Nairobi, over allegations of stealing money from Azania Bank in Namanga, Longido District.
According to Arusha Regional Police Commander SACP Justine Masejo, the suspect was arrested on January 14, 2026, at around 6:40 pm while allegedly carrying out the theft. Officers recovered cash amounting to Tshs 91,280,000 and Kshs 288,700 during the arrest.
