kenya can do much much much much better!!
wildlife,safari,beaches, our beautiful peoples
countries elsewhere with almost next to nothing to show are making way bigger bank.
better marketing
political stability
hospitality
kenya can reduce its unemployment down to 4% if it could just optimize this sector alone!!
2017 was an election year and we had 7 months of campaigns followed by 4 months of uncertainty due to the rerun. There was also the opposition targeted violence aiming to trigger tribal violence. However we not only held to our tourist numbers but even got more. True testament to the great leadership of CS Balala, Kenya Tourism Board marketing campaigns and other stakeholders hardwork. This sector continues to improve with more investment to hotels/recreation facilities, improved parks and tourist areas, streamlined policy/legislation and increased investment to our infrastructure I.e airports, airlines and ports.

we would if the first pictures people see when they google “kenya news” were not of burning tyres, policemen chasing hooligans and very angry faces…just a thought…
Yes but you should learn something new today.
In uae, uk, usa, france dont require a visa to get in coz they are their biggest market in tourism. So many come and spend weeks in government 5star hotels and water parks hence spending alot of money there.
By this more will come to kenya where entry is free than go to tz where they will pay for visa
