The chopper carrying Kenya’s top military officers has crashed in West Pokot, Kenya.
Reports indicate that Chief of Defence Forces Gen Francis Ogolla was aboard the il-fated chopper.
The cause of the accident remains unclear.
The Kenyan government is expected to issue a statement later this Thursday evening.
Ogolla is the highest-ranking military officer in the Kenya Defense Forces and the principal military adviser to the President of Kenya and the National Security Council.
General Ogolla has been the CDF since April 28th, 2023.
