Niaje, I want to ship a laptop with KenTex. Wamenitumia quote, na iko na the freight charges na insurance charges. Is there anyone who’s ever shipped a laptop with them before ani-advise on their customs rates? I would like to know kama nitaambiwa nilipie customs when I go to collect my stuff.

why not ask them? I once shipped a phone with them na nililipa the fee they had asked me to pay without any other charges

For KenTex the quote umepewa ndio final charge. Hakuna additional charges. Lipa ungojee.
Though I noticed their dollar exchange rate is usually Abit higher. Just look at the quotation umepewa vs current exchange rate. If the product you are buying is expe kidogo you end up loosing a few thousands.

How much will you save by importing as compared to buying locally?
A lot, coz the computer will come with genuine OS preinstalled. It’ll also be a latest model processor unlike the 6th gen that are commonly sold locally
