Farmers should use ducks to control the snails even as they deal with kathiongo.

Shida ya kenyan farmers they dont want to embrace new technologies. Fact ni kuwa Kenyan farmers are lazy, they only think of making profit but not thinking about feeding Kenyans. Mtu akishika mita moja through farming anatosheka and forgets about the millions of Kenyans needing that same food. Serikali knows rice haitoshi Kenya. In Kenya utapata farmers are still using manual labour to plant rice halafu you expect it to feed the whole country?

So wasinunue mchele kwa mkulima mudogo ili Kaosgo aiimport muchele wake? Hii akili bana

Rice imekuwa ikikuwa imported tangu kitambo, its not something new. Hizi ni mainsteam media story to keep you pumped with daily dose of dopemine

Rice farming in mwea is highly mechanised.

This is labour intensive work. In large scale farms watu hutumia combined rice harvestor. Inaclean kila kitu. All what is left is sending the rice to the factory for storage. But what happens if you start using these kind of machine utaskia wakulima wakilalamika eti labour itapungua watu watakosa kazi. This is not me saying this but farmers wenyewe hucompain kuwa they are not up to the task to embrace new technologies.
