Kiarie mambo yake ilikuwa mingi. He was dead by the time they developed it. He had other properties in that area up to forest road.
I’m not sure if all stories about him were true ama urban legend.
Story 1
He buys some huge coffee farm. On the day he is to pay, he ensures he gets late to get cash, drives with the cash to the coffee farm in the evening. Settles the amount owed, signs documents with sellers in their house. Later that night, thugs attack the sellers in their house and steal the money.
Story 2
He buys another farm cash. After paying, he offers to treat the buyers to at Amani Hotel. When they come out of the hotel after hearty meals & drinks, the buyers find their car broken into & the cash they had been paid stolen.
I don’t know which of the above farms urban legend has it was named by JKM “Mawara Farm”.
Jubilee were paying 90m per year in rent a kitu kama hio. Political parties are clever enough to not buy party Hq knowing the transient nature of power and allegiance.
