That’s only the American market. Those jobs aren’t disappearing per say, but are being offshored to markets like India and Africa because of cheap labor which actually benefits us. It’s the American model, they only like to manage the work, not do the work. That’s why they outsourced manufacturing to China.

AI only affects software jobs, hardware jobs are mostly unaffected and will likely stay so. We’ll never see AI replacing screens for example.
