Isuzu is the new king of Mid sized trucks in Kenya.
FRR has proven to be more fuel efficient and cheaper initial costs and spare than its rival Mitsubishi FH.
But drivers are really complaining about its braking system though it is quite efficient in its class

Ile trick Isuzu wametumia kupata sales mingi ni io “cheaper initial cost.” Lakini badaye drivers na owners wanalia sana.

Mi najua tu the old FH was gold. Whatever replaced it is useless. Unaeza ona ile mpya lakini ni useless sana.
Also, those new Isuzus are extremely powerful. Maybe it’s the turbo. It should be really.
FRR borrows heavily from this very successful Isuzu Forward. In South Asia this Truck was King. Engine & Gearbox ni ya hii, they just redisigned the cabin and installed Vertical headlights
They are loading 12 tones and drive at 120kph because it has more power. What do you expect for an overloaded truck, over-exited driver and emergency braking??? The truck has no problem!

Mitsubishi franchisee in Kenya and Simba colt ni meffi, overpriced the FH and milked a 25yr old design. Halafu ni wachoyo wanauza kitu bila sleeper cab, while FRR and even UD MK210 sold ones with.
Greatly overpriced their Mahewa’s.
