Is Sabina Joy a club for peasants? I don;t think so

Average beer price is 270-300 just like the rest of clubs that target middle class Kenyans. Ukifanya makosa kununulia dame pombe mostly zao hua 400 na waiters huleta mbili mbili. Management ikiona huna purchasing power ikiwa imejaa ata unaeza fukuzwa.

From my observations, most of Sabina Joy clientele are civil servants and middle class business people. Peasants wa soda na beer moja hawawezi kaa hapo more than 1 hour

You should have seen that place before it was renovated. I was piss dirty and very smelly. Most lanyes looked like retired mboches. We chewed them still.

Club za peasants all have one defining characteristic…zinauza keg na zinakubali watu wa jaba. So, although mimi husema SJ ni ya peasants, that is not true in real life juu hawauzi keg na hawakubali cud-chewing ruminants.

Brothel are the best places to unwind and relax. Do a test run. Thank me later

Kuna club Westlands wanauza freshly brewed keg on tap. Many years back unaingia unalipa 800 you take mugs Hadi unaKO. Not a peasant in sight

Exceptions don’t make the rule. Also, there is a reason why they charge 800 upfront. That requirement is to eliminate peasants who have 150.

I think the old SJ had more character than this present iteration… hizo mbao na mende, ,na choo katikati hahaha!.. Na bei ya beer ilikuwa inachezea RRP kama kukunywa kwa local…

K1 Clubhouse also had keg in jugs… when keg was launched. I think ilikuwa inawekwa Tusker hizo enzi…

Bana you should read Lee Njiru’s book how he describes his life as a young 30 year old presidential press secretary. In the 80s the guy used to avoid what he called ‘metameta’.he used to chill with young officers in Embakasi/Langata barracks drinking a 5shilling Tusker by then. The officers became kina Karangi and many other generals. Avoid spending money in clubs thinking you are a ‘middle class’. Work in yourself

Hiyo ni crafted beer, not keg yenye tunajua mitaani

Not really. However, I agree that most people who blow money in clubs are fools. Ni ngumu sana msee aingie club thao ikose kuisha. That is peanuts on one occasion but do that two times per week that translates to Ksh 8,666 per month. Na hujahesabu fuel costs/uber/fare, na expenses za lanyes for those who partake. On average msee ataspend 10k/month on his alcohol only…yet we know most people earn less than 100k net per month. Pombe ni ya matajiri na mafala generally. Someone earning 500k will not feel that 20k blown on booze and hookers. Meanwhile msee wa 50k is literally pissing away his future - na wasee wa 50k/month ndio wengi. Pombe hutaka mtu anaelewa hesabu zake vizuri na discipline.

Pia after doing some research niliona pombe ni extremely expensive in Kenya compared by people’s buying power. Nisoma one beer at a bar in America on average ni kama $6 yet the buying power of an American is more than 10X higher than that of a Kenyan. Kumaanisha pombe ni dirt cheap in developed countries when you adjust for purchasing power.

Jifunze kutofautisha craft beer na senator keg.

What is with 50k and 500k nowadays?

I can use 100k and 1M if it makes you sleep better at night.
