Kentex cargo does not handle this, i imported a 50000mah powerbank, hadi sahii, 2 month later iko in their US warehouse, They told me to give them a US address or they discard. i gave them address , product haijai fika, 13k imepotea hivyo. Anyway how do you import this? I’m thinking of now importing from UK but sijui nitumie which method. kenya aircargo says they can do by sea but sijui how long via sea it takes.
Batteries of any type are contraband. If you have any friends in customs ask them who can import. But you should be able to get a refund for the 13k. A courier can usually return undeliverable goods and you get a refund. I tried importing drone batteries and failed, twice. I got the refunds. Luckily a son of a friend had brought many with him from China so I got sorted.
What about perfumes and colognes? Kentex doesn’t import these. Who does?
These come by ship mainly, liquids, batteries are prohibited by airlines
However note that Kentex cargo takes 90 days for shipping by sea. Basically you’ve to wait for the containers to get full about 45 days then shipping time plus clearing at both ends. Also you need to get to certain minimum weight, there is a base price. Finally for your case the batteries must be new
