Getting an ID CARD in Kenya should be as simple as:-

  • Wake up in the morning
  • Carry your birth certificate & parent/guardian’s ID
  • Go to the local Huduma Center or Chief
  • Fill application forms
  • Go home with a waiting card
  • Go back after 14 days
  • Pick your Free ID CARD

Why is it very easy to be registered as a voter at a local shopping centre but difficult to get an ID CARD… ???

How much do you pay to become a registered voter… ???

No Kenyan should pay a cent to be documented as a Kenyan.

If we don’t shout enough, we shall all become immigrants in our motherland.

It is fair enough to pay since they are so many administration costs like printing, staff, e-citizen.
The amount should never be more than 50
