ID CHANGES

Wakubwa I would like to change some of the details of my ID. Would like to change place of birth, division, district, location and sub location details since they are all set as Nairobi and I would like them to reflect place mzae ametoka (Meru) is it possible ama nikae tu na ID yangu ivo??

My ID reads that I was born in Kiambu while in actual fact I was born in Nairobi but brought up in Kiambu.
Is that something to worry me really?

I think this is simply an ill motive. Most people always want to change details to avoid filling tax returns or simply to evade tax altogether and that is exactly what I suspect. Lipa 20k coz deadline was on Saturday boss wacha kusumbua kijiji.

Might be land issues, some rural areas the ‘local wazee’ might want to see what your ID reads, or it might be ill motive, but I prefer not to be too judgmental on people.

the pain and the amount of work, from changing basic things like birth certificate ,PIN cert, DL , bank account details, passport, logbooks, tittle deeds… etc, would be a painfully lengthy process , all that to evade paying a measly 20k :eek::eek:

you would probably end up flagging yourself

Also undergoing the same process. Nimechukua affidavit nimeanza na birth cert …ya id ndio sijui vile iko

yangu nilifanya name change n it was simple, nilienda place niliapply id huko home they filled another form but noted on the forms the specifics that were to be amended ,wakatuma na id ikatoka ikiwa sawa then with the id nikaenda kwa birth certificates and they changed the name ,from there nikachukua affidavit and changed the bank details ,
