I think Ethiopia signing some MoU with Somaliland, Kenya’s continued relations with Jubaland, Israel delivery of the air defense system are all connected events.
If Somalia goes ahead and invites China in addition to Turkey which had previously signed some MoUs( some more evidence that this people knew and it’s chase), then I think an actual date will be confirmed and the US VP will be here. Agreements will be signed and Camp Simba will be a major naval base just to show Somalians, Turks and Chinese they can’t do anything. In Somaliland Ethiopia and Israel will then proceed with their plans forcing Somalia to seek negotiations. The Russians have been kept busy while the Europeans refused to tow the line, if they don’t behave they will repay Russian cash by force.
