Hi guys, how do you connect? Getting ‘unsupported output’ Sony bravia
you need vendor graphic card drivers on the lappy, not the basic windows ones.
Are you trying to display 1080p stream on a TV that does 720p max? I’ve seen that error pop up on old Sony TVs that can’t match the resolution output to it.
Thanks guys ,seem I need to upgrade my telly
hmmm…nimelost hapa, can it be downloaded
.
I normally see the lappy screen adjusting automatically to telly resolution, you should check if you have the chipset driver of the graphics card that does the magic.
Without gfx drivers it would not even detect the HDMI port. If the TV reports that the output from HDMI is unsupported it means he already has drivers ama? The cable could also have a break.
I am not sure about that but newish windows versions pick drivers of even less known hardware. You might be right too.
…am getting audio though… No visual
You have to press function plus the display image
There are different qualities of HDMI cables in market. I had to try about 4 different types. Only one worked perfect.
